Most of us live at such a pace that we just hurry from one thing to the next with no margin for error. At the end of the day, we’re so exhausted from all of our hurrying that probably the last thing we want to do is engage a neighbor in conversation. It is impossible for us to love our neighbors in our constant state of hurry because love takes time and time is something that we just seem to never have enough of. How do we make room in our lives for the people who live around us? What would it take to change the pace of our lives in order to be more available to our neighbors?
